Becoming A Woman of Excellence ! by Cynthia Heald

Have you ever allowed your circumstances in life to hold you back ? Thinking you could never measure up to those women in the bible… or maybe those around you…

As I was studying The Word this morning and reading from a devotional I was sent, It finally dawned on me that ” Becoming  A Woman of Excellence ” had nothing to do with my circumstances or what status I was born into or how many times I failed at something in life.

Tweet: “All my people in the city know that you are a woman of excellence”

Ruth 3:11

Ruth was a widow, a foreigner and she was out gleaning the grain from fields where those who harvested , had missed some.  So she was not known there only by her actions…  If others watched you, would they see you as a woman of excellence ?  Ruth was not of high estate or well to do ! She merely followed what the Lord had put in her heart to do , Go with and care for her mother in law Naomi.

Reading the book of Ruth , I would say she was ready for a change in life… She chose adventure over remaining the same and she was a loyal friend and daughter !    She had a tender heart and was a very caring woman ! She was a woman of noble character, she was selfless in doing those things that were excellent, she was strong and did those things she found a worthy pursuit in life.

I would suppose that many women would not have been so brave to follow someone to a land they had never been to… Have you ever done that ? Picked up and moved to a land (state) you have never been to ?  I have… not knowing what awaited us there but following what the Lord showed us to do at the time.

Excellence is measured by Success in Life for the most part today.  In what we attain or what we accomplish.  Many times we feel like failures in life as we don’t have the finest things, we have not made it to that position in our career, business or as a stay at home mom we feel that we have not attained some status in caring for our children , home or spouse. Something is lacking in our lives !!!

What is that ?

Tweet: We are comparing our lives to others lives ? or even to ourselves ?

For we dare not make ourselves of the number , or compare ourselves wit some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing  themselves among themselves, are not wise.

2 Corinthians 10: 12

I am here to tell you that you don’t have to allow your circumstances or your current position to keep you from “Becoming a Woman of Excellence” !

Tweet: Kick those could have, should have , would have’s out the door !

Fame, Success, Materialism and Popularity are fading… Today the church has become so much like the world that its hard to tell your brothers and sisters apart from those in the world who follow after such things.  Its no wonder so many find “Christians” to be hypocrites !  They see no difference in those who say they follow Christ, then they do in the world !

As I share this devotional and God’s Word with you, I am hearing the Lord speaking to be as well in the areas I need to change things in my heart and my life…

Becoming  A Woman Of Excellence even from the first chapter is a very thought provoking study of areas that can be life changing ! I need to be totally honest with you here… though I read my bible and I take notes, I am a list person ! I have never been good at writing in a devotional or journaling, blogging or following through in some ways. But I am going to try to change that, as I wish to be an encouragement as I seek to follow the Lord and the changes he wants me to make in my own life and the life of my family.

Think on this…

Presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice , holy acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Sweet Child of Mine by Jennifer Flanders

What a blessing this Devotional Journal is ! To be honest I wish there had been such things when I was having my own children.  I truly love the pictures in here that you will enjoy for years to come and I know this would really be a wonderful gift to many. A book sure to touch the heart of any mom !

A Devotional Journal for Moms by Jennifer Flanders Isn’t this book so sweet,
there is so much wisdom in here for a new Mamma and for the next generation
to read later in the future !

I just love the way Jennifer has thought of each little area to be filled in by a loving
mother, while she is caring for her children and adding each things caring so that
her child can have these memories to cherish. From before this child was even conceived
until later in life.

This journal is filled with Bible verses on mothers babies and love, that will bring God’s
Word to life to the family. Information to pray for that child before birth and as a child and
as a teen ! Each thing that is included in this Devotional Journal has been added with much
thought given to details.

This would make a very special gift for the New Mom to Be or for a Mom who has children to fill
in for each child. You may want to get one for each baby you have had. Great Baby Shower
present for the expectant christian couple to write down their thoughts as they travel this journey
of pregnancy and birth and training up of their child.

I am sure you will totally enjoy this book and see that it is indeed a true blessing.

I was given this book via the publisher/Author and I recieved this book by applying

How Do I Love Thee by Jennifer Flanders

I must say I was very excited to be chosen to do this review , as I had often admired Mrs. Flanders website. Her website is educational and informative for the godly christian woman seeking to be a blessing to her family. She truly exemplifies what it means to be a crown to her husband, a godly wife and mother.  In the days we live in I find her life to be refreshing and encouraging to me and I am sure it is to many others as well.  This devotional is a wonderful testimony to her desire to share godly womanhood with younger women and in so doing bring honor to the Lord Jesus Christ !

It is not often that you find a woman who will boldly stand for what is biblical and right in today’s society.  I am happy and blessed to call Jennifer, not only my friend but my sister in the Lord !

My First Impression is what a lovely gift for a Bride to be !
Add some pens, markers or colored pencils and they make a
wonderful gift and a personal addition to your families heritage !
One can color and make them very personal artwork for years
to come in the family !!! Very Nice !!!

As on her blog Jennifer has poured her heart and belief into
these Journals. Each page is filled with wisdom and thoughtfulness
that a young or older wife can fill with love to share with her family
in later years. A true Heritage in how their family began and the times
shared between a husband and wife as they grow together in Grace !

I would very highly recommend this as a bridal shower gift , a wedding
gift or a gift for a young ladies hope chest on a special birthday perhaps.
Also a special anniversary gift for a lady friend would be nice. There is just so
very much included. A place to share before married life through each learning
experience in ones marriage.

What a blessing to future generations of women in godly families !
A Lasting Treasure !

As you can see these pages make for a great devotional, a study and one could easily color in the pictures to make them a work of art !

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher and author for my
honest and unbiased review. I applied for this review through BookCrash.

Sucking the Life Out of You !

Sucking The Life Out of You – By Linda Bradt Finn
~ I am not sure about you all, but I have always tried to be a people pleaser and always help others… Sometimes, to the point that I am emotionally drained and dragged down. It wasn’t until 2015 that I finally realized there are folks who will always be an emotional drain on you and never listen to sound advice and never change their lives no matter how sick they are… I am talking physically, emotionally or mentally sick. Have you ever felt like that ? You do and do for others until your empty and you might not even have the energy for your own family that it has drained you so much… its not a good place to be. When you think family, I am talking those in your own house, not extended family outside your home. We have to focus on Us and our immediate family in our home as that is what matters at the moment. I know that is so true for me as a wife to a man with mental and physical disabilities and as a homeschooling mom of 3 who are still at home. There were days in my past where even my older kids as older teens and even as they become young adults or adults the drama and emotional damage that they can do to you , disabled me from doing my best for the Lord in my own home and it really reaps havoc on your family. Mark and I suffered a lot of emotional crap trying to raise my kids from a previous relationship. Even to the point of being investigated by CPS 4 times and found not guilty of the allegations put against us. And when it comes to “friends” those you have met, by letter, on the internet, or in person, I tended to go into each relationship 100% and thought others were the same way as I am. Time and time again, Mark would say “Lin, Human nature 101…smiling faces tell lies ” For so many years I never could see that as I was raised to be a real friend and a truthful person. So when I would help someone, send them things numerous times over a 14 year period and never see any fruit from the advise given or a changed lifestyle, you tend to wonder if what your doing is effective. When you strive to love people like the Lord wants you to and they act like you are treating them wrong, you get very discouraged at times. And if you know more folks who help the same people a lot and it seems like everyone’s love and mercy on them isn’t making them more responsible, but causing them to become dependent upon everyone, you have to re-examine what your doing…. When I started my business I had several friends doing the same business…. so I chose to sign up under someone that had friends in common with me, hoping none of your friends would feel hurt and yet I could do business along side them and if anyone wanted to know how I was succeeding , I would share my knowledge with everyone so we all learned and benefited. I love seeing others I know and love succeed ! So how much can you really help those who never change, you have watched and seen this is the reality right… With my older adult children, I don’t even like to use adult as they at times are so immature and self centered, they don’t have the qualities of adults who are mature… but with them, I learned that if I allow their drama in my home or near us, we all suffer harm emotionally and mentally. With others who are suppose to be Adults and never change as I was told at some point you burn that bridge, don’t look back and go on with your life and live without their drama and constant draining on your life…at least until they learn the lesson God is trying to teach them. Trials in life are for learning from and sometimes when we all step in the way of that, they never learn to stand on their own two feet and become dependents of whomever. ( its akin to the welfare in the US….constant handouts create an entitlement attitude at the expense of others who work hard to earn what they have.) We can only help just so much or we harm those we are trying to help by standing in Gods way to bring them to the understanding of the need to be God sufficient… God has known my heart for the last 15 years Mark and I have been married and regardless of what others think, its been in the right place and I truly meant to be a real friend.
Real Friendships and Relationships don’t suck the life out of you…
For a man to have friends, He must show himself/herself to be friendly…

Parenting With Grace

You spend each day wondering if your children will ever see the need in their own lives for the Savior.  Perhaps their words or actions in life you find very saddening.  You surely know that you never treated your parents with disrespect or acted out the way your kids are right ? Maybe its any of the following things that are bothering you as your young people are saying or doing ?

~ Mom, that was you, we don’t want to be like you !

~ But were not tired !

~ Why can’t we wear make up ? ( they are only 10 or 12 years old )

~ I don’t want to change my clothing, I like the way I am dressed !

~ I hate you !

~ I hate my siblings !

~ Your So Old Fashioned !

~ It doesn’t matter how much make up you wear or don’t wear, your still ugly !

 ~ I don’t want to do school !

~ What is wrong with liking boys ?

~ I don’t want to clean my room ! Its clean enough for me !

~ They slammed the door so hard it put the doorknob through the wall again !

~ They said WHAT ?  swore, profaned God’s name…

Yes I hear some of you saying , that child deserves a spanking !  Soap in the mouth ! No Supper !  Loss of something precious to their young minds… ie. TV, tablet, Wii, or going somewhere special…

Isn’t that what your thinking ?

and your saying God’s Word says to spank them… It says He who spares the rod spoils the child… I know all the verses and so do you , I was raised in a Baptist Church, spanked as  a child and I live to tell !!!!  But I also know that at some point spanking when it causes more rebellion, hate and hard feelings, does no good.  Its been so long since I spanked my kids, I can’t  even tell you when the last time was.  I came to a real understanding that, if they couldn’t reason with me and hear my heartache for their lives, it wasn’t going to do a bit of good to spank them.

Do I take away some priviledges ? You bet I do…

The Wii or the Tablet time or TV …. Yup I do.

Do I do  TIME OUT !!! Yes I do… Do we talk a lot about what they are doing wrong and what God expects from them as children ?  Yes we do !!!!

I am so glad that the Father doesn’t always whip my butt for every single thing I do wrong. God has shown me so much Grace and Mercy in my lifetime and I am thankful for that.

As A wise man said to me once ” You cannot beat your kids Souls out of Hell ! “

Yup, I hear you again, but the Bible says it will !

Do you ever think that if we spend more time Nurturing and Admonishing that we might see a change in our children ?

God’s Word says to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

You know what I remember…  I remember knowing that if I was bad or sinned my mom would spank me for it. But I also know that I didn’t tread that path very often. And  I know that there are things my kids do that my own mom probably thinks they deserve a spanking for today… But I am not my mom and I am Myself.  I want my kids to look back and say, You know what Mom, I probably deserved a spanking for that, but I am so glad that you didn’t do that and that you talked to me and got me to see that I was headed the wrong way… and when I went the wrong way Mom, you prayed for me.

That is true today of my older kids.  I still see them clearly running away from life and from God and there is nothing I can do but Pray, Cry, Pray some more… Talk with them and Pray more… It will do no good, to belittle them, make them feel bad or point out their sin…my older kids know when they are sinning and I have sometimes pointed it out to them when they bold faced say…. Things have changed MOM !  That is culture and its changed now !!!

Really ?  My God has not changed !  His Word has not  changed !

Hard !

What is Grace ?

It is receiving something that you really do not deserve, nor have you hearned it.

What is Mercy ?

Isn’t it the putting off of  punishment and showing Grace when someone doesn’t deserve it.

Have you shown your children God’s Grace and Mercy lived out in their lives through your character ?

or have you lost your cool and said something mean in anger ?

Have you shown your kids God’s Love by loving them…

For God so loved…. He gave….  Gave us something we didn’t deserve and that is Life through His Son Jesus, dying for you and me and for our children…

If you lost it… have you told your kids your sorry and hugged them ?

If you kids have emotional issues and act out… loud , yelling, angry MOM isn’t going to make them do whats right.

It might make them ruin your walls , writing hateful things on them.  It might make them put door knobs through walls.

It  may make them want to leave your house to young and make them walk into sin they have no clue is out there.

They may turn to the wrong people, sometimes even family can be the wrong people… Sometime another young person is the wrong person for your daughter or son to turn to.

Have  you asked the Father to show you where you are messing up with your kids and what you can do to make things right with them ?

and if your a godly parent and your kids are still walking down the wrong road or path and you know your doing everything you can do be walking in His ways and living in holiness…

Don’t beat yourself up, PRAY, Seek Gods Face and Keep Praying.

If your kids are in sin, don’t hide it, talk to someone you trust and find a way to Pray through it and get advice that is sound and godly.

And above all else, trust God’s Word and His Promises where it deals with children.

I know where your at …. None of us are perfect parents…

We all need GRACE and MERCY !

Love your children !

Pray !

Being Right Where God Wants Me To Be

Some of you might wonder ” Why the name change ? ” other’s of you know what it means. Women Professing Godliness is part of a verse in the New Testament of the Bible.

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

I Timothy 2:9 – 10

If you read my about page you will see what it means to me.

In my soul searching the last month or so I have come to see that getting back to the basics means I want to be right where the Lord wants me to be. Part of that soul searching lead me to spending many days, weeks offline for the most part and reassesing what really needed to be changed in my life to be in that perfect will of God. To be the woman God wants me to be and to walk in holiness before him and others. To not just profess godliness but to live and display it for all to see and witness in my life.

With Good Works…

In one of my recent posts Hello is Anyone Home ?  I was Home, but not really at Home. I was doing so much , striving to make everything work and yet life was so stressful for me that I was literally getting sick. What good was I to God, My Husband or my children if I was sick. So I prayed a lot during the time I was offline and was really seeking where things had gotten so messed up and so stressful. When we leave doing things God’s way, things get very stressful. God has an order for us to follow and he has instructions we are to follow in His Word the Bible.

~ In order for Life not to be stressful, we need to follow God’s instructions.~

No matter what the cost is personally, I needed to do this and have assurance in my heart knowing God would work everything out.  I needed to do as he said and trust the rest to Him. I spoke of Trust in my sharing on God’s Provision.  Do we really trust Him ? I know we say we do, but down deep we tend to walk things out in the flesh and say were trusting Him, but in reality we aren’t.

Yes it might mean things will be harder, but in the long run it will mean getting a blessing. God is faithful to us, even when we are not so faithful to Him. When we profess to be godly, we need to display Him and his rightiousness.  Otherwise we are walking out a lie and a falsehood.

So for me being a Keeper at Home, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister and Friend, I wanted to be what I am suppose to be and do it according to God’s standards, not anyone elses. I knew that if I did this I would be blessed of God and I knew that my husband would be happy with me. That is important to me.

To know that God is happy with me and that my husband is also happy.

But I also needed to be happy with myself.

This leads to a happier home.

I want my profession to match my life.  I want others to see Jesus in me. I want them to bear witness that what I say is indeed the way I live.

So for Today this is why I changed the name of my website and this is the way I long to live.

There will be many changes coming here and I hope that you will come back and visit me and see

where the Lord is leading me back to and what is happening in my life.

I know that some of these changes may mean loosing those who follow here, but thats ok.

I am following God, not society’s ideas of who I should be.

God’s Provision

When We Really Need God’s Provision

Sometimes things in life just seem to be way too hard and out of our control. Things just don’t seem to go right and we are finding it hard to make money on the side to keep things going smoothly.  Maybe you/spouse is on disability for some reason and unable to work full time or part time. Or maybe your a one income family, where Mom stays home with the kids or visa versa if your husbands out of work and maybe you homeschool your kids, so your at home.

Whatever your reason for less income

God has it covered !

Yes it seems we get way low on things, we get caught up in the moment and lack faith to see the big picture…

I know I have been there…

You don’t know where your next bit of food will come from..

You don’t know how your going to get the vehicle fixed…

You don’t know how your going to get clothing for your kids…

You don’t know where your next job is going to be…

So you can feed your family !

God does know and whatever he has brought you to, He will bring you through it.

I can so relate… Married but sorta living the solo parent life right now. My DH is disabled and we live on a fixed income of SSD. Things do get tight at times and we have to rely on God to provide for us what we can’t do ourselves. That requires faith and lots of it !

So your down to your last can of beans and a bag of rice ? What do you do ?

You pray and you eat what you have.

You visit family or friends for a meal.

You call your local food pantry ( getting harder today many are closing down)

You call a church for help.

You apply for food stamps ( if you don’t have them already)

You ask for help !

If there is one thing I have learned over the years , its that your pride can’t stand in the way of you feeding your family. Everyone has hard times in life.  I know that God doesn’t expect anyone to go it alone. That is why we as christians need to help each other, we are family. Sometimes more so they real blood family.

In Acts 2: 44-47 says

And all that believed were together , and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods and parted them to all men, as  every man had need. And they , continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.

So it seems that they took care of the needs of their brethren /sisters and no one went without. They went to temple to learn and then ate at each others houses. And notice they were happy, praising God and everyone was getting along. And the Lord added to their number daily those that should be saved. ( notice it doesn’t’ say those that would be saved… ) But you do have a choice to make concerning your salvation.

The closest thing to this that I have experienced was in TN ( although I will say that some folks were strange) We met together whenever we were visiting house to house, several times a week and this was to talk of the Lord and to eat a meal or two. We had the greatest times. We talked about the Lord and shared life, no matter how hard it got and you knew that no one (well almost no one) would let you starve or go without.

Here in NY, I was raised to help anyone who needed help. That is just the way my parents raised us to be. Yes I grew up in a christian home as dysfunctional as it was, we were family.

I think so often we ” christians” forget that we are family and if you see your family hungry, needing clothing, needing to share their life with you, well you aught to live life as such and not just say that ( Me, my wife, my kids  are my family) We should be living with and loving one another all through out the week, not just on Sabbath or Lord’s Day…

God provides for you through your brothers and sisters in Christ.

They may bring you food, clothing, or even work to do that provides you money to get what you need. They may even provide a place for you to stay till you get on your feet and can do it on your own.

It may even come when you didn’t share what your needs were… But God knows your needs.

It may come because you shared your needs… and there is nothing wrong with that.

It might come at the last moment when its needed…

It may come before you even know your going to need it…

All I do know is that God is faithful, He will meet your needs…

You say well he didn’t meet my needs this time…

He didn’t answer my prayer…

He didn’t help me…

To this I have to say that you missed the answer.

Sometimes He may not think you need what you asked for…

Sometimes He says WAIT and TRUST ME !

The trying of your faith worketh patience, let patience have its perfect work in you…

How Much Do You Trust Him ?

Hello !!!! Is Anyone Home ?

I was Home, but was I really ?

As I sat here reading my morning devotional, usually done in a hurried fashion I had to stop and think about where I was heading in life. If you like me your looking for more ways to make everything at home work for you and your family. I try to make sure that each day I have a devotional time and I want it to be something that really helps me to be the wife, mother and godly woman God wants me to be. I personally find that reading Darlene’s thoughts from Time Warp Wife keep me thinking on those things God desires for me at home.

I sat here this morning wondering how on earth I had gotten so far off track… How has everything I am doing really lead me so far from doing those things that i truly enjoy and love to do and so far from my family who I love with all my heart.

Sometimes we get so caught up in the pressures of life that we take it upon ourselves in the flesh to fix the problems in life and if your like me , that means you take on things you really don’t want nor enjoy doing. Why ? Just to make a few extra dollars to do more, get more and have those things you think you need. This leads to a very hurried lifestyle of always trying to catch up on those things that are really needing to be done.

So Whats The Answer Right ?

Well, I unplugged for 3 to 4 weeks from most of my online media ! You don’t know how good it feels to step back in time and just live life !  I had things to do here to ready for wintertime and we got alot of things done.

We started Homeschooling for this year !

We moved my bedroom downstairs.

We moved my Living room into the room that was my diningroom.

We moved the dining table into the kitchen.

We moved a full sized bed and set up a set of bunk beds in the rear room of the house for guests.

The kids now each have their own rooms upstairs and are enjoying it ! ( Less Arguing and fighting )

I made the room behind my bedroom into an office sewing room !

I actually for the first time in months took a soaking bath, life was so rushed before that I only took showers.

I got to sit down and actually feel tired after doing something real and not online for a change. Will I do this again ? I sure will… I enjoy doing things that I once did.

I Crochet, Quilt, Sew, have time to read a devotional or a full novel. (I read and influence for christian authors ) I went outside and collected 11 feed sacks of kindling and moved what wood was cut to my cellarway, its rather full and soon we will go down in the cellar and move wood around, most seasoned to the space closer to the wood furnace.

“It is amazing what you can get done and enjoy doing it when your life is not revolving around the net !”

What Other Benefits Have I enjoyed ?

I started a Low Carb eating plan hardly any breads or pasta, more veggies and fruit.

I am aiming at a whole foods eating plan.

Green Smoothies and such are my friend!

I have lost  18 lbs !

My size 22 jeans are falling off my waist and I can get them off without undoing them…. Yea for Me !

I have more energy and feel so much better !

And last but surely first….

My Husband loves me and cares for me.  I know he is proud of me for really trying harder to be a Keeper at Home. ( Truth was , I was here, but I wasn’t here this past year)

And the most important change…

I have time for God, he has always had time for me but I had little time for him when I was running around like a chicken with my head chopped off. We run around thinking we are doing things for the Lord or in his name…

But Are We Really ?

In the Bible Paul said ” I would that young women Marry, Bear Children and Guide the House, give none occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully “I Tim. 5: 14

Titus 2:4 says

That the aged women are to teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children. To be discreet , obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Given that I am 50, but I still have 3 Youngins to home… I wanted to get back to the basics ! I wanted to get back to doing what God requires of me and I so wanted to please my Husband and My Lord.

Women Professing Godliness : It’s Not About You, It’s About Jesus in You !

my mouth graphic carrie daws

As I spent a while thinking on I Timothy 2:10 yet again, its been one of my verses for 13 years now that I keep reading and thinking on. You see many years ago I was asked by my husband to write an article on our website back then called ” Women Professing Godliness “. That was my place to be an older woman and instruct younger women , How to love their husbands, love their children and be a chaste, devout keeper at home.  But also to seek godly holiness in behavior ( character), how I live and carry myself, before God, before my family and before others.  Back then I felt pretty helpless to meet up to the task that Mark was asking of me.

But he said

” Lin, its not about you, its about Jesus in you “

What a profound statement that was in my life.  And he was right, it wasn’t about me or how perfect I could be, it was about letting Jesus Love and perfectness shine through me.  I will be honest, some days I feel like I fail big time…

My attitude isn’t in the right place, I get frustrated and depressed with how the many things in life are going and I loose sight of the ” Goal “.

What was the goal ? and how on earth can I be an example of an older woman having it all together, so that younger women could learn godliness from me ?  I wanted to live a life of holiness before God and everyone.  There are many areas I feel like I fail in, but there is many things I am good at and those areas are the areas where God has given me talents to succeed in.  So here is the goal !

Titus 2: 3 – 5

The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things

That they may teach the younger women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,

To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to heir own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

I Tim. 9 – 12

In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety, not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array,

But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection

But I suffer not a woman to each, nor to usurp authority over the men, but to be in silence.

OK, so there is the goal straight from the New Testament that deals strictly with women. Keeping in mind that Paul also said

I Tim. 6: 6

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

There is a lot to be said in these passages but I am going to share what my thoughts were then and now. No they have not changed, they have only become more sure in my heart and mind as to what my goal is…

Today it is still not about me… It is still about Jesus in Me !

If we are indeed Women Professing Godliness, then we need to live as God’s Word says we are to live and not just pick and choose the parts we like and throw out the ones we don’t like.

I am going to share this in several articles I write , hopefully to bless you and help you to see that its really not that hard to attain, even if you feel like you are failing right now.

Today, I want you to mediate on  the verses I shared and that

Its not about you…

” Its about JESUS IN YOU “

Here is a beautiful saying I found online that is so what our thoughts should be.

Enjoy !

The beauty of the house is order;

The blessing of the house is contentment;

The glory of the house is hospitality;

The crown of the house is godliness.
